Copied directly from the blogger help menu - that way I don't muck it up!

 1.Click Layoutfrom the drop-down menu on your dashboard below the blog you would like to customize.
 2.From there, click Edit to edit existing gadgets, or Add a Gadget to add new ones.
3.To add a new gadget after you've clicked Add a Gadget, simply click the plus sign next to your desired gadget. You can choose from gadgets by category, or search for a specific gadget in the top right of the pop-up window.
4.Once you've added the necessary information to your selected gadget, click the orange Save arrangement button. Your layout changes will appear instantly.

To invite friends go to your dashboard, then overview, then followers. Scroll to the bottom and click on 'invite friends'. This will open a window where you add email addresses for those you wish to invite. Screen captures to come...

 You need to remember the other thing that you need to do...  HMM having trouble with this one???

Week one 2012
Well Moodle is rather 'busy' and a bit difficult to navigate but I hope students will be able to find everything.  Wendy is so fast at fixing broken links etc that I think we'll be fine. 
Not a bad turn out to the first face to face class but it is going to be challenging to condense everything into 2 hours.  Angelina and I will get used to it, I'm sure. 
Students are introducing themselves on the profile forum and setting up their blogs which is so good to see as it means they are off to an immeadiate start and that can make a huge difference a few weeks down the track.  Good on them!
